Giacometti Variations on the Catwalk

"...my plan is to elongate standing Giacometti sculptures and clothe them with garments.  The idea of extending an extreme yet existing idea to its logical conclusion has been a working method for me."
~ J.B.

Standing 15 feet tall made of resin, steel and bronze, these stylish waif sculptures by John Baldessari are currently on view at his "Giacometti Variations"  exhibition at Fondazione Prada, Via Fogazzaro 36, Milan, IT

29 October - 26 December, 2010
